Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of thematic learning in MI Amanatul Izzah  Cangkring Sidoarjo. The subjects of tgis study were educators and class 5 students of MI Amantul Izzah Cangkring Sidoarjo. The approach in this study uses qualitative case study research with a focus on this research. Data collection techniques in this study using indepth interviews, observation and documentation. This research results in the implementation of thematic learning in MI Amnatul Izzah Cangkring Sidoarjo in accordance with the 2013 curriculum, but there are several obstacles in this study including: the ability of educators to apply models, methods, strategies that are suitable for learning. Thust it can be concluded that the implementation of the thematic learning implementation of class 5 in MI Amantau Izzah Cangkring Sidoarjo has been achieved in accordance with the 2013 curriculum, but still requires a more appropriate method to be assessed properly.
