Abstract

The Point Counterpoint learning method is a learning method that prioritizes group work to discuss certain topics and then after that the group argues with other groups who may have different views and perspectives from the group. Thus the interaction between students in learning tasks will be created by itself. So that the development and achievement of student learning will be realized. The type of research conducted in this research is Classroom Action Research. That is a type of practical research intended to improve learning in the classroom. The result is that the point counterpoint learning model is more fun to apply, students can accept the material being taught by conducting in-depth discussions. They also feel comfortable and free and really like to exchange opinions with fellow group mates. The occurrence of changes in student learning outcomes is because they are required to be able to master the material that has been given by educators.
