Peningkatkan Keterampilan Membaca Anak Sekolah Dasar melalui Media Audio Visual: Sebuah Pendekatan Pendidikan Tindakan Kelas

This research examines the issue of low reading skills in elementary school children and aims to improve these abilities through the use of audio-visual media. The research was conducted using a Classroom Action Education (PTK) approach which involved three intervention cycles. The research results showed a significant increase in children's reading skills after implementing audio-visual media. This method has proven effective in increasing students' motivation, participation and reading comprehension. The contribution of this research is to show that audio-visual media can be an effective tool in learning to read, providing a basis for the integration of technology in the basic education curriculum. This research emphasizes the importance of teacher training and infrastructure support to optimize the use of technology in education.
