Analisis Distribusi Suhu Permukaan pada Berbagai Penggunaan Lahan di Kota Kupang Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur

The increase of human population year by year cause the increase of land required to support human activities. It gives negative impacts to elements of the climate’s change. The research aimed to analyse the surface temperature changes on some type of closure of land and analyse the distribution of surface temperature using Landsat 8 Imagery of Kupang City, East Nusa Tenggara Province. This research methods applied Split Windows Algorithm approach. The result of this research found that the surface temperature changes tended to decrease from 2017 and 2021. The distribution of surface temperature from 2017-2021 has divided into four class intervals of temperature with the lowest temperature as much as ≤ 23 oC and the highest temperature of ≥45.37 oC.
