Abstract

Inquiry learning strategy is a series of learning activities that emphasize critical and analytical thinking processes to reach and find answers to a problem in question. This study aims to determine the effect of inquiry learning strategies on critical thinking skills learning outcomes of theme 4 fifth grade students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Bustanul Ulum Sumberkarang, Dlanggu District, Mojokerto. Research Quantitative Research (Quantitative Research) with data collection techniques, questionnaires, observations, learning outcomes tests and documentation. Simple Linear Regression data analysis technique. The results of data analysis know (1). There is a significant positive effect of inquiry learning strategies on critical thinking skills of fifth grade students at MI Bustanul Ulum Sumberkarang, Dlanggu District, as evidenced by the value of tcount (2,050) > ttable (2,028). (2). There is a significant positive effect of inquiry learning strategies on student learning outcomes of class V MI Bustanul Ulum Sumberkarang, Dlanggu District, as evidenced by the value of tcount (2,592) > ttable (2,028).
