Update to JIKDISKOMVIS Manuscript Template and Submission Requirements
Dear Authors,
JIKDISKOMVIS has updated its manuscript template, Author Guidelines, and supporting submission documents as part of its ongoing efforts to improve editorial quality, research transparency, and submission management.
The updated requirements will take effect for manuscripts processed for publication in Vol. 11 No. 2 (2026) and subsequent issues. Authors are required to use the latest template and follow the updated submission requirements available on the JIKDISKOMVIS website.
The main updates include:
- Use of the latest JIKDISKOMVIS manuscript template.
- Manuscripts should contain 4,000–7,000 words, excluding the abstract, references, tables, figure captions, acknowledgements, and declarations.
- The abstract should not exceed 250 words.
- Authors are required to upload four documents upon submission:
- Cover Letter
- Anonymous Manuscript
- Manuscript with Author Information
- Author Declaration Form
- The Cover Letter should specify the article type, selected journal scope (Visual Communication Design or Computer Science), main contribution or novelty, and relevance of the manuscript to JIKDISKOMVIS.
- Manuscripts should include the following five declarations:
- Author Contributions
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) Use
- Conflict of Interest
- Funding
- Research Ethics and Informed Consent
- Where relevant, authors must provide information regarding research ethics and informed consent. Formal ethical approval/ethical clearance should be reported where applicable or where required, depending on the nature of the research and relevant institutional or regulatory requirements.
Authors are advised to download and use the latest documents available on the Author Guidelines page before submitting their manuscripts. Manuscripts that do not comply with the updated requirements may be returned to the authors during the initial editorial screening for revision before further processing.
These updates are intended to improve manuscript consistency, research reporting transparency, and the efficiency of the editorial and peer-review processes at JIKDISKOMVIS.

Sinta Reaccreditation Ranking Results
We are proud to announce, Based on the results of the scientific journal accreditation period II in 2024 and the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia Number 177/E/KPT/2024, dated October 15, 2024, it was stated that the Reaccreditation of the Journal of Computer Science and Visual Communication Design rose from rank 5 to rank 4 starting from Volume 8 Number 1 of 2023.

Proudly announcing, Based on the results of the accreditation of scientific journals period III of 2020 and a Decree of the Minister of Research and Technology / National Research and Innovation Agency Number 200 / M / KPT / 2020, December 23, 2020, stated that the Journal of Computer Science and Visual Communication Design began Volume 5 Number 2 of 2018 gets a 5 sinta accreditation rating.

UPGRADE OJS
Dear visitors, in order to improve service and data security, starting in May 2020 there was a migration from the OJS 2 system to version 3. Until now team has been maximizing the display and transfer of journal data in the previous edition. It is expected that the process will be completed by the second week of June 2020.
For authors who want to submit, please be able to do the process on this website (Click Online Submission). Accounts on the old system can no longer be used, so it is expected to create a new account.
