Abstract

Penelitian ini mengevaluasi efektivitas metode peer teaching dalam meningkatkan keterampilan mengajar calon guru, mengingat pentingnya pengembangan keterampilan ini untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang efektif. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengidentifikasi efektivitas metode peer teaching dalam berbagai aspek keterampilan mengajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode peer teaching secara signifikan meningkatkan keterampilan mengajar, termasuk pengelolaan kelas, teknik pengajaran, dan interaksi dengan siswa, serta meningkatkan kepercayaan diri calon guru. Novelty dari penelitian ini terletak pada konfirmasi efektivitas metode peer teaching dalam konteks pendidikan guru di Indonesia. Kontribusi penelitian ini memberikan dasar untuk integrasi metode peer teaching dalam kurikulum pelatihan guru, yang dapat berdampak positif pada kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia.

 

This research evaluates the effectiveness of the peer teaching method in improving the teaching skills of prospective teachers, considering the importance of developing these skills to create effective learning. The aim of the research is to identify the effectiveness of the peer teaching method in various aspects of teaching skills. The research results show that the peer teaching method significantly improves teaching skills, including classroom management, teaching techniques, and interaction with students, as well as increasing the self-confidence of prospective teachers. The novelty of this research lies in confirming the effectiveness of the peer teaching method in the context of teacher education in Indonesia. This research contribution provides a basis for the integration of peer teaching methods in teacher training curricula, which can have a positive impact on the quality of education in Indonesia.
