However, rapid globalization and modernization have led to declining interest in traditional foods, particularly among younger generations, who prefer fast food. This study aimed to analyze the role of culinary tourism in preserving and promoting traditional Surabaya cuisine, identify the challenges and strategies for its development to increase its appeal, and examine its contribution to the local economy. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach with case studies, involving interviews with culinary entrepreneurs and tourists and observations at key culinary tourism destinations. The findings revealed that, although culinary tourism has the potential to support the preservation of traditional cuisine, the main challenges identified were ineffective promotion, insufficient supporting infrastructure, and a lack of interest among younger generations in continuing traditional culinary businesses. Therefore, collaborative efforts between the government, business owners, and local communities are needed to enhance promotion, quality, and the overall culinary tourism experience, which can positively impact the local economy through increased tourist visits and regional consumption.</p> Daniel Pandu Mau Yesarela Pandu Mau Otje Herman Wibowo Rizal Kurniansah I Wayan Arta Artana I Wayan Adi Putra Ariawan Copyright (c) 2024 Daniel Pandu Mau, Yesarela Pandu Mau, Otje Herman Wibowo, Rizal Kurniansah, I Wayan Arta Artana, I Wayan Adi Putra Ariawan https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2024-12-23 2024-12-23 6 2 123 134 10.55732/unu.gnk.2024.06.2.3 Optimization of Poverty Alleviation Programs Through the Classification of Village Characteristics Around the Mandalika Special Economic Zone (SEZ) https://journal.unusida.ac.id/index.php/gnk/article/view/1486 <p>The Mandalika Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Pujut District is a tourism SEZ with rapid development, projected to absorb 194,293 workers by 2037. However, there are still 7,749 households (37.56%) categorized as pre-prosperous in the surrounding rural areas. This study analyzes rural development strategies using cluster analysis (K-means) with 5 variables: number of pre-prosperous communities, tourism facilities, trade and service facilities, capital access facilities, and SME presence. The research grouped villages into 5 clusters with different focuses: SME and trade development, capital access and trade, tourism and local employment, entrepreneurship training, and optimization of capital access for trade. This clustering aims to streamline poverty alleviation programs around the Mandalika SEZ as a regulatory improvement that pays more attention to the social and economic aspects of the surrounding communities.</p> Jhon Jhohan Putra Kumara Dewa Loetvy Wahyuningtiyas Alifan Cahyana Copyright (c) 2024 Jhon Jhohan Putra Kumara Dewa, Loetvy Wahyuningtiyas, Alifan Cahyana https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2024-12-24 2024-12-24 6 2 135 142 10.55732/unu.gnk.2024.06.2.4 Mapping Green Accounting Research Trends in Indonesia : A Systematic Literatur Review Perspective from 2017 to 2024 https://journal.unusida.ac.id/index.php/gnk/article/view/1448 <p>Research Objective: This study examines the contribution of research to the development of green accounting, both theoretically and practically, and offers recommendations for future research based on a literature mapping.
