PENINGKATAN PRESTASI BELAJAR MATEMATIKA POKOK BAHASAN MELAKUKAN PENJUMLAHAN DAN PENGURANGAN BILANGAN SAMPAI 500 MELALUI METODE PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF MODEL JIGSAW (Studi Kasus pada Siswa Kelas II SDN Gebang 2 Sidoarjo)

Abstract


This classroom action research aims to determine the application of the Jigsaw model of cooperative learning methods to student learning achievement and student learning motivation. This study uses three cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely: design, activity and observation, reflection, and refining. The target of this study was the secondgrade students of Gebang 2 Elementary School Sidoarjo. Data obtained in the form of formative test results, observation sheets of teaching and learning activities. From the results of the analysis, it was found that student learning achievement had increased from cycle I to cycle III, namely, cycle I (66.67%), cycle II (76.19%), cycle III (85.71%). Increased student learning achievement reached 19.04%. The jigsaw model cooperative learning method can positively influence the learning motivation of class II students of SDN Gebang 2 Sidoarjo 2018/2019 academic year.
