Abstract


The method of teaching is a knowledge of ways of teaching that are used by a teacher to teach or present learning material to students in the classroom, either individually or classically so that the lesson can be absorbed, understood and utilized by students well. Another opinion states that the method of teaching is a method used by the teacher in making relations with students during the course of teaching. Based on the opinions above, it can be explained that the method of teaching is a method of teaching used by teachers to deliver learning material to students during the teaching and learning process. The application of IPA needs to be done wisely so as not to have a negative impact on the environment. At the elementary level, it is expected that there will be an understanding of learning (science, environment, technology and society) directed at learning experiences to design and make a work through the application of science concepts and competencies in scientific work wisely. The results obtained from this classroom action research show that the drill method can significantly improve students' enthusiasm for learning in the field of science study with material for preservation and preservation in class III of SDN Wadungasri.
