PENGARUH MODEL LEARNING CYCLE 7E TERHADAP MOTIVASI MAHASISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MENYIMAK (LISTENING)

Abstract


This study aims to determine the extent of the influence of the Learning Cycle 7e model on student motivation in listening at the English Education Department, FKIP UMSU, in the 2017/2018 academic year, especially in sub competence listening for developing  diagrams that are derived from statistical data and information about the characteristics of objects or objects associated with numerical quantification which delivered in form of oral texts, in order to improve the quality of learning in particular listening to English. This is a quasi experimental research) which uses classical experiment design. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire for learning motivation of the ARCS model, a test consisting of positive and negative statements. The results of the study showed that the use of this learning model had a significant influence on students' listening learning motivation as evidenced by the average value of student motivation in the experimental class 4.19 in the good category.
