PENGEMBANGAN PERANGKAT PEMBELAJARAN GEOMETRI KELAS III SD DENGAN MODEL PROBLEM BASED INSTRUCTION (PBI) DI SDN SIDOMULYO MOJOKERTO

Abstract


This research is conducted by viewing the reality that there are still numerous teachers who play dominant role in the class, where most teacher use lecturing method, assign the students to do the task and writing. Most students feel bored and commit irrelevant attitude during the learning process. Therefore, every time the teacher conducts daily test, only several students can get good scores. To accommodate this coming problem, in this research the researcher tries to develop learning media Problem Based Instruction (PBI) model. This research aims to produce good learning media on Geometry on the third grade students of SDN Sidomulyo, Mojokerto. The media which are developed including Lesson Plan, Students Work Sheet, Scoring Sheet and Post-Test. The materials used in this research are the ring of rectangle and triangle. The research media development in this research is 4-D Thiagarajan (1994) that was modified to 3D. The subjects of this research are the students of the third grade of SDN Sidomulyo Mojokerto. When the try out was in progress, the teacher’s ability to manage the class and learning, and group management was observed. Response guideline was given at the end of the learning process. The post-test as a part of learning media was also observed to know the validity, reliability, and sensitivity. Based on the post-test results, the percentage of the individual standart minimum score was achived.
