Abstract


The purpose of this study is to improve the learning achievement of PJOK volleyball game material through modification of mini volleyball in fifth grade students of Pabean 2 Elementary School Sedati District, Sidoarjo Regency. The researcher used the Class Action Research model. Modifying mini volleyball can improve student volleyball playing performance as evidenced by an increase in student learning completeness in the cognitive aspects of cycle I by 74% (good) increasing in cycle II by 94% (very good), this indicates that students already understand and are stated succeeded and expressed satisfaction with the mini volleyball game because the teacher provided motivation to encourage students to study harder. In the affective aspect of the first cycle as much as 58% (good enough) increased in the second cycle by 94% (very good), this shows that the students are well aware of the learning objectives implemented and the teacher always gives motivation that can encourage students to be more competent in sportsmanship and grow fun or excitement for students. In the psychomotor aspect the first cycle of 48% (quite good) increased in cycle II by 90% (very good), this is because students practice or study independently and students already know the correct method or technique in mini volleyball.
