Abstract


The purpose of this study was to improve the competence of Japanese language teachers in preparing lesson plans and implementing teaching and learning processes for teachers in grades X and XI at Kebomas 1 Public High School, Gresik Regency. This research was conducted at Kebomas 1 Public High School, Gresek Regency. This research was conducted in the second semester of the 2018/2019 academic year starting from January to April 2019. The study consisted of two cycles with each cycle covering planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results showed that supervision could improve the pedagogical competence of Japanese language teachers in preparing lesson plans. The conclusion of this study is that using class supervision can improve the pedagogical competence of Japanese language teachers in preparing lesson plans. It is proven by the results of the assessment through the Implementation Plan Assessment Rubric. The first cycle of Japanese mapel teacher learning in grade X and XI gets the same score, 98, is in the good category and the results of the second Japanese Japanese teacher score 123 and the Japanese maple teacher gets the value of 126, is in the very good category.
