Abstract


This study aims to improve the performance of teachers in developing learning strategies through workshops in SD Binaan Taman District, Sidoarjo Regency. This research was conducted in two cycles and each cycle consisted of four stages, namely, planning, implementation. observation, and reflection. If there are at least 80% of teachers classified as very good and good in the aspect of assessment of learning strategies, then it can be said that the actions that were implemented successfully. The aspect measured in assessing the success of the action is the readiness of the teacher to attend the workshop and the results of the workshop. The results of the study found that there was an increase in teacher's performance and performance in preparing learning strategies from cycle I to cycle II. Achievement of performance indicators is in action II. Thus, it can be concluded that through workshops can improve teacher performance in compiling learning strategies for teachers in grades 1 to 6 in SD Binaan Taman District Sidoarjo.
