PENINGKATAN MENULIS MAKALAH MELALUI METODE DISKUSI KELAS XI-BB SEMESTER 1 TAHUN AJARAN 2018/2019 SMA NEGERI 1 KEDUNGPRING KABUPATEN LAMONGAN

Abstract


Learning models through class discussion methods in increasing students' ability to write papers. So far, the ability of students to write papers is not sufficient. This method tries to provide assistance to students' ideas in determining topics in papers and develop them. Type of classroom action research (CAR) through four main steps, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. In pre-action activities until the second cycle has increased. Problems in pre-activity activities provide opportunities for solutions in cycle I activities. Deficiencies that are still encountered in the first cycle regarding students' lack of attention and activeness were successfully overcome in cycle II so that the learning process has proceeded according to the objectives of the action. Students give positive responses to learning to write papers with methods of discussion in class. Students can feel the benefits of the discussion method in practicing writing papers.
